What Niman does

One surface, three modes
The source editor, the live (WYSIWYG) editor and the read view are one widget of Niman's own; switching modes does not move the page.
Links that reach anywhere
Wikilinks and Markdown links between notes, into a page of a PDF or a chapter of a book, with a dialog to create a missing note.
Journal, tasks and reminders
One note per day with a calendar; a todo list over todo.txt; reminders with exact alarms on Android and tray timers on the desktop.
Export, your way
A note, a folder or the whole library out as Markdown, a self-contained HTML page, a print-ready PDF or an EPUB book.
Sync to your own server
Per-library WebDAV sync to Nextcloud, ownCloud, a NAS or any WebDAV folder, with an offline queue that retries by itself.
Make it yours
Day, night or system brightness, and a palette — System, Niman, Catppuccin, Solarized, Gruvbox — or a theme of your own, exported as JSON.
Pictures, PDFs and books
Pictures, PDFs and EPUB books open in the note pane on every platform, zoomed and paged where they need it, opening where you left off.

Niman runs on Android (minSdk 35), Linux (Wayland) and Windows. macOS and iOS are not built yet, but the code is kept portable.
